According to the Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO), there are currently just over 8,000 licensed foster homes in North Carolina. With over 16,000 children in foster care, there is a significant need for loving Christian families to step in the gap and become licensed foster families.
40% Of The Young Adults Leaving Foster Care Will Be Homeless Within 18 Months. For The 23,000 Who Age Out Of The System Each Year, 97% Will Experience Chronic Poverty.
